Rebekah Ripley, a gymnast from from Cincinnati, Ohio, has always been a fan of Barbie dolls. She played with them as a child, and still has a huge collection even now as an adult. She said that Barbie represents “femininity, empowerment, and confidence.”
It’s no wonder Rebekah chose to set her floor routine to Aqua’s 1997 hit “Barbie Girl.”
